i just received via e mail a link to a new video of the night procession. (here is another video which i had received right after the event.) please view my photos of the entire process leading up to the procession itself. (many other photographers’ photos caught moments we did not.)
my contributions were: the knitted shawl worn by the parade’s leading figure, huberta, as well as all of our family’s outfits; some dyed with kakishibu, some illuminated and reminiscent of jellyfish, and one hat knit out of used coffee filters. this was a beautiful experience for me, and i will always be grateful to george ferrandi for the opportunity to participate.
